This Privacy Policy explains how Vidmantas Kajokas (“QuizPrism”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use QuizPrism and its quizzes. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. If you have any questions, contact us at privacy@quizprism.com.
1. What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, your email address (optional), and the answers you select while taking a quiz.
- Payment information: if you buy a full report, your payment is processed by our payment provider (Polar) as Merchant of Record. We do not see or store your card details — we receive only confirmation of the order and limited details such as your email and order ID.
- Usage data: basic, privacy-friendly analytics about page visits, collected without cookies and without tracking you across other websites. If you arrive via a marketing link, we also record that link’s campaign tags and the referring site, stored on your device and with your quiz session, so we know which of our campaigns brought you here.
2. How we use it
- To run the quiz and generate your personalized result and report.
- To email your report and related transactional messages (only if you provide an email).
- To process and confirm your payment for the full report.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract — to provide the quiz result and the report you request.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure and understand aggregate usage, in a way that does not override your rights.
- Consent — only where required, for example if you opt in to any future marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Cookies & local storage
QuizPrism does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not set our own cookies. To make the quiz work, we store your in-progress answers, name, and email in your browser’s local storage on your own device — this is necessary to carry your answers between steps, and you can clear it at any time from your browser. Our analytics are cookieless. Our payment provider may set its own cookies on its checkout pages, governed by its own policy.
5. Service providers (sub-processors)
We share data with the following providers only as needed to run the service:
- Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics.
- Neon — database hosting (stores your quiz session and answers).
- Brevo — sending your report and transactional emails.
- Anthropic (Claude) — generating your personalized report text from your answers.
- Polar (Polar Software Inc.) — payment processing as Merchant of Record.
Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep quiz responses and order records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email privacy@quizprism.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority in Lithuania.
8. Children
QuizPrism is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
